Moroccan security forces in plainclothes reportedly attacked and assaulted a Saharawi human rights award laureate and former political prisoner, Mohamed Dadach, in El Aaiun on March 23, 2013.

Dadach, who spent more than 20 years in Moroccan jails, was beaten while trying to join a demonstration in Smara Boulevard.
